Dah seminggu kite berpuasa.. Sekejap je masa berlalu. Had buka puasa at a few places. So far xpernah masak lagi for buka. Yes, now i'm cooking! Dah kawin kan.. Blaja masak pun dari albir actually. Wanted to learn how to cook from mak n tokne but i always get the same reply.. "Alah senang je, campak2 je.." or " Anak2 tokne dulu pun xpandai masak. Lepas kawin sume pandai sendiri". If a situation pushes u, u actually can do a lot of things that u never knew u could do. So for now, setakat benda2 simple tu bole la buat. Skarang tgh menuntut ngan k eva gak. Would like to learn western food lak. They say its easier to cook it compared to our dish.
Last week had buka puasa kat Restoran Opah, Sunway Pyramid. We ordered soto, seafood laksa, nasi, daging tetel masak asam pedas, ikan keli masak lemak tempoyak n kerabu mangga n kCng botol together with ayam percik. The soto was so-so but the other dishes were quite nice. Ayam percik dia pun not bad...

Then the next day buka puasa at Restoran Azira, Seksyen 10,Shah Alam. Had nasi beryani kambing. Sedap gak. Masa tgh menunggu waktu berbuka tu, suddenly one mat saleh approached albir n asked " Hi there. Do u speak English?" So albir pun jawab "Yes." Then he said "Great. I would like to try the local food here. Would u mind showing me the dishes here?" Sebelum sempat statement tu nak register dalam kepala kitorg, tetiba auntie leha dah enter frame dulu.. "Yes, what would u like to have?" N dia pun bawakla mat saleh tu n kawan dia pusing kedai tu. Bole than gakla dorg nye taste. Nasi beryani, ikan keli sambal, gulai lemak nenas n ada la 2 lauk lagi. Yg hebatnye licin dorg makan.
Lepas habis makan, kitorg pun borak2 la ngan dorg. (i didnt say much at that time coz suara still xde lg). Rupa2nya dorg tu visiting lecturers UITM. Sorg lecturer Thermo-dynamics Engineering from Newcastle, sorg lg Aeronautical Engineering from Wales. Lepak gile jalan dari Concorde Hotel ke kedai tu (which is abut 2 km). Lepas dh puas borak2, we went our separate ways. Owner rest tu siap bagi bubur cha2 n bubur pulut hitam kt kitorg as a token of appreciation auntie leha jadi tour guide.

Weekends buka umah tokne (makan free yg confirm sedap n bole bungkus bawak balik utk sahur). Saturday makan simple je, ikan terutup n sayur kobis n macaroni goreng. At first segan gak nak amik ikan coz tggl skit tp unc wahid terasa nk makan sardin utk sahur so senang akak xyah masak sahur. Ari ahad jgn citela makanan punyela banyak. I siap buat buka utk semlm lg. Yesterday, first time gi bazaar ramadhan utk tahun ni. Mahalnye food skarang ek. Ayam percik seketul RM 3, ikan pari bakar sambal RM 5, air tebu 1 jug RM 4. Cekik darah nye.. Now ni i mcm miss mood baik, tgh cari buffet ramadhan yg murah2.. mmm..

resipi kat internet byk .bak kata boyfriend aku, bawang , halia kalau terlebih tak pe, rasa tak out..

tokne masak xbyk tp mesti masak lebih sbb mmg tau kekdg anak cucu dia slalu buat surprise visit.
kitorg pulak kalau gi umah tokne mesti dgn perut yg lapar.. hampeh sungguh..

i've eaten at opah before, ok la not bad tp di hari biasa, byk items in menu dia x ada.
