Finally the deal was completed last Monday. We went to the lawyer's office, signed necessary documents, handed over the house keys and took our cheque. So finally, we are able to say goodbye to our 1st home and beloved property at Seri Maya. Adios D-02-01 Savannah Condo..

Ketenangan Dalam Dunia Penuh Kesengsaraan..

Try to translate the title to english.. QUANTUM OF SOLACE! Kelakar kan? Yes, albir n i went n watched James Bond yesterday. The last movie that we went to was Indiana Jones.. berkurun lama gile. Watched it at GSC Premiere Class, Gardens for rm20 each. Mahal dah harga tiket wayang skarang ye. But not bad for the price. At least u don't get people behind u shaking ur seat ( guys who just cant control their legs annoy me).

Anyway, it is a continuation of Casino Royale. I dont like that one but i love this movie especially the stunts. And i'm starting to like Daniel Craig as a 007 agent.. not like the typical 'Bond'.

Now i'm just waiting for Harry Potter & The Half Blood Prince which will only be released next year..

Anaphylactic Shock

Today is a tragic day for rayyan.. Tok mommy fed him a half boiled egg this morning (it was his first time). He only ate a quarter of it. Not long after that he vomitted. Okay so maybe he still can't digest eggs yet. But he was groggy the whole morning.. not feeding well and was very clingy. Initially we thought maybe it was one of his bad days. After 3 hours we started to notice rashes on his forehead. Thought it was an insect bite at first. Then the rash started to spread to the whole body. He actually had an allergic reaction to the EGG! We gave him medicine to cool it down and applied calamine lotion all over his body.


Sian sgt... His ears were so red like hot chilli and he was scratching all over. Thank god after feeding him he slept for nearly 3 hours and the rash subsided. Pity u my dear.. dahla ada eczema, ni allergic to eggs lak. Maybe u are unfortunate in some things but lucky in others. We pray the best for u, sayang..


Now he's back to his old self again. But we still need to feed eggs to him from time to time coz the MMR vaccine contains an egg like substance. Hopefully he'll be able to take the MMR vaccination when he is one year old..

(Umur 12 bulan)

Tujuan:
Untuk mengelakkan berlaku alahan yang akut (teruk) seperti anak sukar bernafas dan kebiruan. Boleh dimulakan bila-bila masa dari umur 8-10 bulan.

Arahan:
1. Beri anak makan kuning telur satu sudu (sepenuh masak) 1-2 kali seminggu.
2. Jika berlaku kemerahan kulit dibahagian mulut atau badan (alahan), HENTIKAN makan telur untuk sementara waktu (seminggu sahaja).
3. Teruskan makan kuning dan putih telur, lebihkan dari masa ke semasa. Seminggu 2-3 kali.
4. Jika tiada alahan, anak anda sedia untuk disuntik pelalian MMR sewaktu berumur 12 bulan.

*Jika anak anda ada alahan pada telur, suntikan MMR diteruskan di bawah perhatian doktor selama 2jam.

I'm Back

I'm back after a very-very long silence..dun ask me y coz i dont know the answer..btw yesterday albir went to midvalley and bought three quartz of baskin robbin's ice-cream. He bought jamoca, strawberry cheesecake and blue raspberry sherbet. I LOVE cookies n cream but after 3 31st attemps, i found out that the cookies were 'HANGIT'. Frust betol.. There was this one time we bought a 1/2 gallon of cookies n cream.. bercinta sungguh nk habiskan. In the end we just ate the ice cream n threw away the cookies.. what a waste. Anyway the queue in midvalley was tolerable.. unlike some places like subang and kajang. I heard the queue number was terrible. Once my auntie had to wait for 40 people before she could place the order...anyway we only bought this ice cream bcos of the 31% discounts on every 31 day.. for an ice-cream freak, sounds good and worth it IMO.. just had to make sure that it could last till the next 31st..

My 28th Birthday..

My 28th birthday was last friday. Planned to have a big buka puasa with family but was so tied up so the plan had to be postponed. Hubby asyik tanya nak hadiah apa.. I dont really know what i want. Maybe i'll ask for a watch..

Anyway i'm blessed to have my family around for my 28th.. May this year be a good one fillled with lots of love and happiness..

Yesterday, i went for berbuka puasa and jalan2 at Midvalley wif my elder sister, rayyan and albir.. after little discussion we decided to berbuka at Spaghetti Grill (Italian-American Food)--->subsidiary of chilli's(Mexican)...

we booked our table at 1830 and went for window shopping 1st before buka...

we finished our buka puasa at 2030..hehe and the best part was i managed to get rm30 discounts from the manager..so intead of paying 129.90, i only paid 99.90..good deal...:). next stop...hmmmm

Ramadhan Al Mubarak

Dah seminggu kite berpuasa.. Sekejap je masa berlalu. Had buka puasa at a few places. So far xpernah masak lagi for buka. Yes, now i'm cooking! Dah kawin kan.. Blaja masak pun dari albir actually. Wanted to learn how to cook from mak n tokne but i always get the same reply.. "Alah senang je, campak2 je.." or " Anak2 tokne dulu pun xpandai masak. Lepas kawin sume pandai sendiri". If a situation pushes u, u actually can do a lot of things that u never knew u could do. So for now, setakat benda2 simple tu bole la buat. Skarang tgh menuntut ngan k eva gak. Would like to learn western food lak. They say its easier to cook it compared to our dish.

Last week had buka puasa kat Restoran Opah, Sunway Pyramid. We ordered soto, seafood laksa, nasi, daging tetel masak asam pedas, ikan keli masak lemak tempoyak n kerabu mangga n kCng botol together with ayam percik. The soto was so-so but the other dishes were quite nice. Ayam percik dia pun not bad...

Then the next day buka puasa at Restoran Azira, Seksyen 10,Shah Alam. Had nasi beryani kambing. Sedap gak. Masa tgh menunggu waktu berbuka tu, suddenly one mat saleh approached albir n asked " Hi there. Do u speak English?" So albir pun jawab "Yes." Then he said "Great. I would like to try the local food here. Would u mind showing me the dishes here?" Sebelum sempat statement tu nak register dalam kepala kitorg, tetiba auntie leha dah enter frame dulu.. "Yes, what would u like to have?" N dia pun bawakla mat saleh tu n kawan dia pusing kedai tu. Bole than gakla dorg nye taste. Nasi beryani, ikan keli sambal, gulai lemak nenas n ada la 2 lauk lagi. Yg hebatnye licin dorg makan.

Lepas habis makan, kitorg pun borak2 la ngan dorg. (i didnt say much at that time coz suara still xde lg). Rupa2nya dorg tu visiting lecturers UITM. Sorg lecturer Thermo-dynamics Engineering from Newcastle, sorg lg Aeronautical Engineering from Wales. Lepak gile jalan dari Concorde Hotel ke kedai tu (which is abut 2 km). Lepas dh puas borak2, we went our separate ways. Owner rest tu siap bagi bubur cha2 n bubur pulut hitam kt kitorg as a token of appreciation auntie leha jadi tour guide.

Weekends buka umah tokne (makan free yg confirm sedap n bole bungkus bawak balik utk sahur). Saturday makan simple je, ikan terutup n sayur kobis n macaroni goreng. At first segan gak nak amik ikan coz tggl skit tp unc wahid terasa nk makan sardin utk sahur so senang akak xyah masak sahur. Ari ahad jgn citela makanan punyela banyak. I siap buat buka utk semlm lg. Yesterday, first time gi bazaar ramadhan utk tahun ni. Mahalnye food skarang ek. Ayam percik seketul RM 3, ikan pari bakar sambal RM 5, air tebu 1 jug RM 4. Cekik darah nye.. Now ni i mcm miss mood baik, tgh cari buffet ramadhan yg murah2.. mmm..

The Little Shaolin

Last Saturday Rayyan had his first haircut. Ayah dia mmg nk cukur rambut dia botak lepas cukur jambul aritu. At first nk cukur mata 1 but akak tu cukur licin. Nasib baik rayyan dok diam je the whole time. He looks so different now. Mcm budak kecik dlm cite shaolin. Kalau hilang mesti org ingat anak cina. Lepas botak ni, dia nmpk cheeky sgt! Geramnye..

But the one habit rayyan yg susah nk stop is dia suka sgt garu2. I dont think that it's itchy (although dia mmg ada eczema). The problem is kuku dia tajam gile. Dah potong sehabis pendek pun still tajam gak. Habis kepala n muka dia calar-balar. Dah macam pirate lak. Tak taula camne nak buat. Sometimes berdarah2 coz dia benamkan kuku dia. Kecik2 dh ada habit. But the best habit of all, everytime masa mandi tangan kiri dia akan garu bontot while tangan kanan pegang 'bird'.. takut terbang kot.. hehe..

Last week we brought rayyan to the hosp coz he had eye discharge. Initially not that bad so beli je cmc ointment. Malas nk bwk dia gi hosp coz he was stil active n feeding well. But after 2 days he developed fever n mata dia mcm bengkak, so bwkla gi a&e. Uncle dadan yg check. Dia amik masters in paediatrics so sesape yg ada kemuskilan psl penyakit kanak2 bolela consult dia. But basic rule for ur kids, if they are still active n selera makan bagus, u might not need to worry too much. But if they just sleep n don't wanna eat or drink, then better see a doctor.

Now ni mommy dia pulak yg sakit. Mula2 sakit tekak jer.. tetiba bgn pagi satu ari tu, terus takde suara. Now batuk2. Hajja call tadi gelak2. Albir pun asyik ejek2 je suara i yg 'sayup2' ni. Tapi barula sedar yg suara ni pun adalah salah satu nikmat dari Allah. Seksa woo xde suara.. I feel that it is difficult for me to express myself.. Barula nak rasa bersyukur dengan nikmat kurniaan Alah..

Anyway to everybody, selamat menyambut bulan ramadhan. Puasa jgn tinggal, rajin2la gi tarawikh.. (same goes for me as well).

Rayyan's Aqiqah

Alhamdulillah last saturday had Rayyan's aqiqah n potong jambul, finally.. Rayyan potong jambul with his cousin who is 2 months younger than him. We ordered catering dr Ad @ beryani super (saad kot nama dia). Kambing mak long masak kuzi n tok chu masak merah. Laku.. diorg masak mmg sedap. I'm very lucky to have a very supportive family. Without them xtaula bole handle ke tak majlis ni. Dahla barang2 serba xcukup.

Tokne came early in the morning n brought buah pinang (kitorg xcari pun, hehe..). Auntie kay n min brought clothes for the babies. Rayyan had 2 options, either a white jubah or a yellow baju melayu. Sadly jubah tu xmuat. Kalau x bole sedondon ngan parents dia. Kitorg pakat pakai baju nikah :) (we kinda stole the limelight, sorry rayyan..) Majlis start lepas asar n ended nearly maghrib..

The next day kitorg sesama gali lubang utk tanam tulang kambing qiqah n jambul rayyan. Rasanya xpernah lak i pegang cangkul. Berpeluh2 gak. Memang patutla keje ni org laki yg buat.

Alhamdulillah, majlis dah selesai. Rayyan, be a good person n may u have a great life ok..

Dinner at Amarin Heavenly Thai

Had dinner with albir n sis-in-law last nite at midvalley coz they offered 50% discount for hsbc. The place was full but managed to get a table near the sofa. Senang bg rayan guling2 kt situ. Ordered green chilli chicken curry, sweet n sour seafood n baby kailan oyster sauce. But my favourite is the 'clear' tomyam. First time i jumpe tomyam xde kaler kt sinila. Best woo.. Tapi sorryla kalau pics kt bawah ni xmembuka selera u all. Dh abis mkn baru teringat nk amik gambar.

Parenthood expo at midvalley is going on from today till sunday. Jom jejalan.. Bole dapat baby things murah2..

Aritu i blk umah in-laws kt jb.. my sis in-law rebonded her hair for only rm60. So i went there as well. Dh lama gile x buat apa2 kt rambut ni.. since before kawin last year. Tny auntie tu how much for my hair. I got a shock coz she said only rm80. Memang i potong pendek sikit before but i dont think i can get that price in kl. Aritu shud ada tny d 'expose' girls how much do we usually spend on our hair.. Hajja n sera nye rambut dh lurus toing2.. diorg xyah buat apa2 pun. My hair is frizzy so high maintenance la.. but dunno whether d products that she used were good or not.. will just have to wait n see..

Another thing, my hair is falling off like nobody's business.. even when i'm not doing anything at all! Anybody ada petua nk kurangkan rambut gugur? Some say its because ada baby kecik.. tp rayyan dh 6 mths dh. Abisla botak pasni..

Geopark Langkawi

Xsempat2 nk tulis blog. Coming back to my trip to langkawi.. went with albir, rayyan, mak, k eva, ely n her 2 kids.. n suddenly stepdad showed up at the langkawi airport! Terkejut bezerk!! Dhla sewa avanza je.. nasib baik muat. The whole situation was a bit awkward but was otherwise ok. Only that mak had to take 2 apartments instead of 1 (what a waste of money..) Heard he grumbled to mak that he was tired. Kesian gak but who asked him to come in the first place..

Anyway we first arrived in langkawi that evening by MAS. First time bwk infant naik plane.. jakun gak. They have an infant belt kan.. but mak yg pegang rayyan that time. Was so overexcited that i left the viewcam bag under the seat!! Luckily while collecting our checked-in luggage an MAS staff returned it to us. Thank u so much!! Baik betul hati dia.. may Allah bless him always. Kitorg siap sempat amek gambar kat plane lagi.

After that we went & checked in at sri intan.. not bad for the price. Dapat staff discount. That night we had seafood for dinner but was just so-so. The next day we woke up early n had a dip in the pool. First time rayyan masuk pool. Air tu kan sejuk so rayyan kept saying "nanak, nanak", "dah, dah" tapi mommy dia ni paksa gak dia mandi dalam tu. Yela dah siap belikan bathing suit baby gap n floaties tu.. rugila kalau tak mandi kan. The thing is kat rumah tu swimming pool olympic size tapi tak pernah pun nak mandi.

After the swim went to Underwater World, tengok anaconda, penguin 'Happy Feet'. What a coincidence that Happy Feet was just on HBO the night before. Then had lunch at KFC at the jetty. Bestnyer makan fastfood takde tax kan? Why did they have to put the tax on us in the first place?? Then jejalan kt Langkawi Fair n Pekan Kuah. Borong Pyrex n kain batik n pelekat n chocolates. Pastu tapau dinner. Oops i did it again.. left my purse on the table!! Baru lepas withdraw duit tu.. Thank God a couple at the next table realized it. May Allah bless them too.I do forget things sometimes but was never this forgetful. My mind was occupied kot..

On our final day in Langkawi we took a ride in the cable car. Seram sejuk gak but my fear of heights was not as bad as my sisters'. Maybe it runs in the family. Dah puas amik gambar kt platform atas tu albir ajak gi jambatan gantung tu lak. Initially i thought it would be fun but the journey was horrible! Dahla jauh pastu balik kena panjat tangga lak tu. Pancit sungguh.. Nasib baik xpanjat gunung kinabalu aritu. All in all, it was a long awaited, needed, nice break. Dahla tak gi honeymoon lagi. Konon2 nk gi Bali tp tetiba org tu pasport mati lak. Satu kampung dah tahu tu! Malu betul.. sampai xsanggup nk balik umah tokne eventhough ada birthday party aritu. Hopefully dapatlah gi vacation best2 lg pasni..

never thought that i would have a blog.. only after reading my frens' & seeing them 'kutuk'ing me.. this could be fun.. wanted to have my first entry yesterday, 080808 but was a bit busy.. rayyan is 6 mths today.. brought the whole family to langkawi.. had the biggest surprise..
